* Just to update what kind of breakfast i m having almost every day! :X YumYum!
Things getting more and more interesting each day! this morning when i m having breakfast, suddenyl beside us there was BLACK water splashing out from the walls parallel to where we sitting! 2 tables with people, got drenched and their things were like soaking wet in the dirty water... and after that, the fire alarm rang and it was accident cum fire drill! hahaha.... everyone gathered and the firemen came along... everyone was complaining that they had no breakfast and everyone was hungry... But things had to go on.. so we ended up having an empty stomach, going for our drama class...
During the drama class, everyone actually looked very sian until the teacher did very fun thing with us... and also tour us around where we are; the wheelock family theatre..
* This guys is the marketing guy for all the shows that the wheelock family theatre produced.. and i tink he is a gay! (he is top on my suspecting list..) hahaha... he is just like kenji is all ways...
*That is the "ang moh" that is teaching us drama.. and that girl there is tiffany... she was asked to raise her hands up and look upwards and the teacher asked how you feel.. she just blurred out, "i feel like i m Jesus Christ!" O.O
Anyway, due to the mishap this morning, we earned a free lunch meal and the cafe! heex... then after that school again,, :( sians... but after that, it was time to go to the president's house!
*this is at the garden where we had our wonderful dinner and all the jump shots that will be posted on facebook by friends... heex...
At the end of the day, we headed back and started mugging on assignments again... :(

23 June 2009 (Boston) - tuesday
morning was free and intended to go to some shopping cos my and abby heard that VS ( victoria Secrets) sales is ending very soon... and there are still lotsa things that we need to get! However, we did not really go in the end becos project is in hand and it was a more important thing that we needed to clear...
However, things in the afternoon pissed me off so bad that i started to change my attitude towards the lessons with my some wat favorite "Ang moh" teacher; Ms Nancy Clark.... thanks to that fucking teacher; Juliet... Nancy just left the room for just a while and she like took over the class liao.... and the worst thing is, she became the "clown" to try her very best to like befriend with us... which is like obviously very fake! and then the other students are lyk insulting her and she still continues to talk and be thick skin to stand in front of the class and change the way Nancy is trying to teach us... In addition, she have actually confused what we are learning and have already known.... I was so fucking angry to the extent i told abby," can she just lyk fuck off and shut up! we are going to see her the next 8 weeks after the boston trip and she still stand in front of us to talk cock! Fuck off and give us more time to sleep and rest so that later we will have enough energy to shop!!!"
Any way, the class ended and this is wat happens....

It was a very interesting start for today! although we woke up like super early and everyone was still tired, we sat on the T to go to a childcare center which is called "head-start program".
A little about the center:
- this center is fully funded by the government to allow children from low income family to enrole in it... Parents do not have to pay a single centre even for the enrolement...
- in this center, there is everything... this include dental, early intervention room and transition rooms that allows the infant and toddlers to get use to the timing in the pre- k class....
- Service provided includes free dental screening, free diagnosis whether the child is special needs in any way, free meals, free diapers for children, free formular milk, etc....
*Child size funiture for them to help themselves up into a standing position, and the edges of the shelves are actually very rounded so that children will not get hurt easily...
*this is like their circle time and despite the teacher is singing songs, children are moving around, showing no interest in the session... the teachers did not scold them and force them to sit down, but instead she respected them and understand that they might not be interesting in the singing....
* this is like a picture of the entire classroom that we entered and we can see that the furniture are mostly catering for young children and there are losta space which is actually to accomodate children or adults who are physically disabled, to move around....
From this exeperience, i would just want to conclude that Singapore should be ashame of their child care policies and the way that the system is doing things.... In the childcare at boston, everything is child-centered.... everything the teachers are doing, is done with a mindset of putting the child before anything... although there is a time table that they need to follow... but the teachers there are saying that the timing for the infant and the toddlers are actually more flexible and should be changed or make arrangement according to the individual needs ad interest of the child.. Unlike Singapore, everything is objective base.... and due to the standards that the teachers have to meet, it becomes that the teachers are putting the standards and objectives from the school system before the children... which i tink is not correct....

21 june 2009 (boston)
After the pass few angry days with the other ppl, my dear abby and i decided to enjoy ourself while the others head their way to church and everything... but the weather was really very bad.... it was raining lyk for almost the whole day and the wind was blowing as well... However, we managed to take some pictures... and here are some of them....
* Look at all the fruits... Dun you think that there is something strange about it? the Bigger fruits are small and the smaller fruits are like bigger than the big ones in Singapore!
* A pet shop that sells cloths, collars, beds, bags, grooming services and every fresh cookies with chocolate as well!!!
*2 crazy women testing hats...
*2 semi- twins trying out new PJs... wahahaha!
Despite all the trying and stuff... we shop the whole day but we did not really buy lotsa stuff yet.. any way, there is something interesting we found out from the others who went to church the following day.... They said that they manage to witness a Lesbian Marriage and they took part in the marriage at the church! so cool rite?! heex.... __________________________________________________________________

Haiz.... Nevertheless, the fun have to come to an end... school start today and i m not even ready for it....

lesson was very rush and i dunno whether i m well enough whether to absorb what did the teacher say due to the jet lack.... but any way, lessons ended fast, and the assignments also came equally fast... tonite, i will have things to do that will be due next mon.... Sianz.... so just went to the nearest supermart to get dinner and come back to eat.... :(

And then after reaching the stop we want, we started walking there and this are some of the things that we did there...

*we played hulla- hoop to actually want to get a nice cute bottle for you... but cannot.. :( cos no more..
*and do face tattoo and balloon hat.... heex... all like a little kid...
of cos there are still many fun things that happen such as taking pictures, jump shots, meeting fun people and we even like took pictures with wedding couples and their family!! but all the pictures are with my friends and they will be tagging me in my facebook soon... :) there is also something that we saw when we were heading back to the place for the duck tour...
*people are going on strike dunno for what the the road side!
anyway, the duck tour was really waste money.... everyone was so tired and everything and everyone is like falling asleep... and the bloody guy is like dunno wat he talking lor. and like i am actually very pissed of with yi en again.... during the whole time, she lyk did not consider whether ppl hungry or not... still keep walking and walking... buying their own food and stuff.. then got ask like nv ask like tat lor... wat the fuck.! (*more info will be talked over on the phone...)
Despite all the unhappy things that happened, i would like to reflect on the experience at "the life is good" carnival for everyone to raise funds for the children.... i tink that this event is really catering to parents, children, their family pet and even ppl with special needs are actually taking part in this thing... we saw parents bring their kids and dogs there for picnics and gatherings with friends... and during the carnival, not only did they rAISE funds, they also have various activities to cater to children in all ages, starting from simple fun face painting to obstical courses.... not only that, children who are less active are also included into this event by organising art and craft area and area that allow children to learn musical instruments...
Not only all that is above, there is actually mini concern going on... but the special part is, there is a translator for the people who are deaf, standing at the side of the stage, doing hand signs.... i tink that this is very unique and it is worth learning becos i tink singapore also have mute and deaf people but there is not much catered to them in the "natural" environment.... which is such a shame.... haiz...

the 2nd day out of the 5 weeks we will be at boston... and we finally managed to like eat the morning breakfast that the seniors were talking about that is so delicious but have to eat that for 5 weeks morning.... and it taste really good for the 1st day..! unfortunately, i did not take any photos on that... :( my friends have the pictures but did not upload on face book to tag me... so i dun get the pictures...
then after that is the scavenger hunt around boston with a person working at the campus.... heex... that one was more of a knowing the place and how to take their T (means train..) and their language they used lyk "in-bound" = train going into the city and "out-bound" = train going to the suburb... so below are some pictures that we took during this trip to boston city...

* this is my other stop at the old public library of boston... heex.. very harry potter right?? still got many paintings and everything... will show you more when i get back...
so after all these walking an taking pictures and like taking the T, we went back and then after that we followed this teacher to the supermart called "Shaws" which i forget to take picture also cos lyk too tired too do anything liao... and unhappy thing happened there with the group... :( so any way, most of my members lyk too tired or lyk sick so they went back to the campus to rest and eat in... by me and abby tink that we are like not accomplishing anything so we went on walking around to look for food... heex.... and this is one of the things we eat and saw....
IT IS THE FENWAY BASEBALL MATCH AND EVERYONE IS BUYING THE BUNS IN ABBY'S HAND (which is actually very not nice to eat... XP) heex.... in the end we went to POPEYEs to buy things to eat... :)
All in all i feel that in this trip out to the boston city, it makes me feel that i m in an old town... with young ppl... cos like all the buildings are very old and historical and the buildings are lyk protected very well! And every one there is so willing to help when you ask for help... heex... and the weather is lyk very good here... at least better than singapore.... and i thought i could not cope with the weather well... but in the end, i just wet out of the campus not wearing any jacket for quite a long period of time... :D
P.S: i love you and miss you lots and you can actually start counting down to my arrival to Singapore..... (32 days to go.... )

Airport airport here we come! many pictures were taken and this is the one i most like best out of the many taken.. :'( hugs were given to everyone except that bastard.... but the funny thing is i did not cry when i left them... the only time i cried when i was reading peep's letter.. :(Some events that happened on the plane

Besides funny things happening on the plane, during transits, other scary thing happened... one of our group mates got randomly called to check her stuff and she had to walk a long route and do all the custom checking all by herself... she was so freaked out until she cried.... Let me show you where she got stucked...
*this is where we were taking our luggage out from san fransico to boston de internal flight & that is when she was no where to be seen.....
Anyway, here at last... we all landed at boston save and sound... :)

"So how am i feeling now?"
I really dunno... But of cos, i will miss my peeps and my sons that are with him... If you want to ask lyk why am i not showing my emotions... actually, i m trying not to show it by cutting off all thoughts about flying... However, i can assure you that no matter what, i will have waterfall of tears rolling down my face on the day and time of departure... :'(
I really hope that i will and can be fine while i m there.. :(
